NDIS self-managed support
Self-managed NDIS funding can give participants more choice over who delivers support and how payments are managed. It also involves responsibilities such as keeping records, checking claims and ensuring supports relate to NDIS goals.
Before you contact a provider
Have your goals, support type, location, preferred days and contact preferences ready. You can give only the information needed to begin. A provider should explain costs and service arrangements clearly before you agree.
Questions to ask
Ask providers whether they work with self-managed participants, how they invoice, whether they need a service agreement and how they handle cancellations or changes. Keep clear records and seek official advice if you are unsure about a claim.
