Accessibility at Care4AU
Care4AU is designed to help people find support in a clear and respectful way. We aim to make the directory usable for people with disability, older Australians, families, carers and support coordinators using a range of devices and assistive technologies.
What we are working towards
We use plain language, readable contrast, responsive mobile layouts, clear headings, labelled form fields and keyboard-friendly controls. Our pages are designed to work across current browsers and at different text sizes.
Getting support your way
You can submit a support request online and tell us your preferred contact method, including phone, SMS or email, as well as the best time to contact you. You may also include communication preferences, accessibility needs, language needs or support needs in your request.
If something is difficult to use
Digital accessibility is ongoing work. If a page, form or listing is difficult to access, tell us what happened, the page you were using and the format that would help. We will use that feedback to improve the service and provide information in a practical alternative format where we can.
