How Care4AU verifies providers
Care4AU helps people discover support services, but choosing a provider is a personal decision. A verified Care4AU profile means we have checked the information the provider supplied against the evidence appropriate to its service type. Verification is not a recommendation, guarantee of availability, or a replacement for your own questions.
What we check
- Business name, ABN or organisation details where applicable
- Contact details, service areas and the services the provider says it offers
- Relevant registration, accreditation or insurance information when it is required for that service
- Whether the listing clearly explains funding options, accessibility and how people can contact the provider
What you should still ask
Before choosing a provider, ask whether they currently have capacity, what their fees are, how they manage cancellations, whether they can meet your communication or accessibility needs, and how concerns are handled. For NDIS supports, confirm the provider can work with your funding arrangement.
Keeping listings current
Providers can update their profiles, services, coverage areas and contact details. We review reports of inaccurate information and may request updated evidence. If something on a listing does not look right, use our report-a-concern page so we can investigate.
Our role
Care4AU is an independent directory. We do not provide care, make clinical assessments or choose a provider for you. Our goal is to make it easier to compare clear information and send a request to providers you choose.
